Just another Manic Sunday!

2 words……Busy! Busy! Err…..well actually one word repeated twice (hehe….to emphasize how busy I was last weekend). Initially I had 2 photo projects to handle last Sunday. I need to re-shoot the birds for the photo contest, looking at how bright the sky was that morning. Here’s a snapshot of what happened last weekend.

Saturday (16/07/05)

9.00 a.m : Wake up, clean-up my room, shower & breakfast
10.00 : Checked my camera equipment
10.30 – 2.30 p.m: Shooting at KL Birdpark
3.00 : Develop my pictures
5.00 : Shop for any other shortages in my supply of photographic necessity
7.00 : Reached home
8.00 : Start editing my pictures (this process could take hours….i finished editing around 1.30 a.m)

Sunday (17/07/05)

7.30 a.m : Wake up / do laundry / clean house / cook breakfast / shower /
Prepare equipment
9.30 : Send Daniel to Puduraya
9.45 - 12.30 p.m : Shooting at KL Birdpark
1.00 : Reached home / cook lunch
3.00 : Find new photolab. The previous one pisses me off!!
4.30 : Reached home / pengsan for 1 hr
6.00 : My parents reached home / cousins came to visit
8.00 : Brainstorming for my forensic report

I never did bird photography before, so I signed up for the contest to challenge myself and to find out my ability. I do portraiture and still life and occasionally street photography so bird photography is a totally new area. I find it quite difficult as it requires a lot of attention, patience and focus. I didn’t enter the contest to win, but my photos will be on display (hopefully!!).

P/S: A friend actually suggested that I do my own exhibition for all the portraits I took. Is planning for that at the moment, hope to conclude the project by end of the year wish me luck!
